My first round of pickles is done! All the ingredients are grown by us except the chilies. It definitely makes for more work having to grow and pick everything but it's worth it.
My reward for my hard work....iced coffee thanks to Pioneer Woman's recipe. YUM.
Both the pickles and iced coffee look delish! I am dying to try her recipe.

ReplyDeleteHomemade pickles - yum! My mom and grandma used to make pickles every summer -- at least 50 quarts. We always looked forward to it - fun memories! Now I'm going to go look up that iced coffee recipe :)
